From its very beginning in 1898, Camden Clark Medical Center has played an important role in building and maintaining a high quality of life in the Parkersburg community by providing the finest possible health care at the most affordable cost. Since its founding, the Camden Clark Foundation has helped our community hospital keep abreast of the health care needs of the community.
The Camden Clark Foundation was established in 1987 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In partnership with patients, physicians, employees, community leaders and philanthropists, the Foundation’s mission is to develop relationships and financial resources to support the health care programs, projects and services of Camden Clark Medical Center.
These funds enable the hospital to offer state-of-the-art care to its patients while underwriting its efforts to provide health services to the economically disadvantaged. This philanthropic partnership enhances Camden Clark’s ability to create a compelling work environment for physicians and staff, and offers fulfilling opportunities to donors and volunteers. It is through the generosity of individuals, corporations and organizations that Camden Clark Medical Center is able to provide excellence in health care for its patients.
The goals of the Camden Clark Foundation are to:
- Find a path to a significant expansion of services
- Procure the latest technological advances in medicine
By investing in our community hospital, those of us who have the power to give have the power to invest in the quality of our future. Won't you join us in investing in life right here in our community?

Living tributes allow donors to pay tribute to an individual or group, express appreciation, extend congratulations, convey best wishes, and honor birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and births. Memorial gifts bestow a special honor upon a deceased friend or loved one. Making a gift in someone’s name makes a positive difference in the quality of health care in the community.
